Affinity is our modern administrative interface for Mailman 3. It is a role-based system and its features are dependent upon the role that your Affinity user account has. It is possible to have multiple roles associated with your Affinity user account. The 4 roles are:

Server Owner

This role is intended for a user that runs a Mailman 3 cloud running Affinity and Empathy. The S.O. role allows the creation of domains associated with Mailman 3 lists. It also allows the adding/removing of Mailman 3 lists. Finally, the S.O. role allows the adding/removing of Affinity users.

List Owner

This role is intended for a user that manages a Mailman 3 mailing list.

Moderator

This role is intended for a user that manages the moderation queue of a Mailman list. It includes the moderation of incoming messages and subscriptions.

List Member
